Sunday Verses

Happy Sunday! Does your family like to play games? We do! But, when playing games it is usually one person against another, one winner and one or more losers. In the game of life Jesus calls us to not be rivals fighting and competing against each other, but rather He wants us to work together. There is power in working together, in supporting each other. In our marriages, workplaces, friendships, churches, communities, and homes let's stop playing the competition game. Let's STOP the "every man for himself" attitudes. Let's work together and get a better and stronger return for that work and win the life game as a team instead as individuals. Have a great week and GO TEAM!

  1. I wholeheartedly agree. In the community that I live in there is an hoa & my husband recently got elected to the board. Instead of working on important matters he is trying to get people in the community to stop their feuding & just get along. I can't even go to the meetings anymore as the bickering & finger pointing is too stressful. Why can't they see how much nicer it would be if we all worked as a team?

    1. That is too bad and sad! Of course in this election year we are seeing quite the opposite in people--definitely an every man for himself attitude. Oh, how much easier it would be if we all actually lived out God's words.
