Painted Pumpkins Signs

Last weekend I scored 40+ cupboard doors roadside, for FREE!

I made my first couple projects, one which was this painted pumpkin on a little square cupboard door.

I put way too much paint on my paint pallet so I also painted a pumpkin on a scrap piece of barnwood. These are easy to paint, using orange, gold, white, green and brown paint.  You really can't mess them up.  I just keep adding layers of paint until I liked the look. I sanded them a bit after the paint was dry.

I hand-lettered a fall sentiment on each.

So many more projects to come with these doors!

  2. They both look great! Love the one on the Barnwood, but also love the one on the cabinet doors, that's one of my favorite colors. Your hand lettering is so pretty!
