Target Knock-Off:String Art

Oh, the apple doesn't fall far, does it?  When my daughter spied some feather string art at Target she said, "I can make that for my room!"

And make she did, all of it, all by her little thirteen year old self.
She found a board painted white, (OK, I did cut that for her), she sketched, and nailed, and strung.

It turned out great and cost $0 since she used all things we had.

Isn't it cute?

  7. I just found your blog after searching for this feather art at Taget!! I too am going to tackle making this...question, is each feather made from one continuous piece of string?? I was wondering how to do the "veins" of the feathers. This turned out amazing!!!
