Pallet Bookshelf

Using pallet wood, I made this fun bookshelf.
I am sure you have seen this similar one on Pinterest, and I would give credit if the link lead anywhere, but I could not find the original source. I made the shelves first,
and then attached the sides.
This was not a precise process.  I placed the boards on the sides and penciled out the angle.  A little sanding helped even it up. I painted this one a little more subdued--green and blue and grey.
The woman who purchased it was not sure if she was going to use it in her kitchen or family room, but she was happy with her new shelf.

  2. Thanks so much for another idea to make with pallets. Love how this turned out. Looks like you enjoy making things out of pallets. It's good to know pallet items are still wanted. Like the lines and style you used, gives it a different take.
We've just accumulated a few pallets and are on the watch for more. Kept telling the hubs about all the great things can make with them but he was very doubtful. So I suggested he get online to look for himself, guess who's on board now to make things with pallets?, hooray. Where we live is kind of a hard market, people don't seem to like or understand the rustic or distressed. Gee where have they been? Thanks for sharing a great project and I'm so glad I found your blog. Happy days

  3. I think this is really great. I bet it took you longer to dismantle the pallet than it did to build the shelf!
