Pallet Bookshelf & Crafting with Wood Pallets

Oh my goodness, my book has shipped to the warehouse and will be shipping to retailers soon.  Retailers will include Barnes and noble, Amazon, Walmart, Sam's Club, Books-a-Million and several independent bookstores.  I am humbled and ever so grateful for this opportunity.  Here is a sneak peek at the back cover:

And here is a past pallet project that is one of my favorites!

Using only pallet wood (except the red X on the back), I made this little bookshelf:

I used small pieces for shelf supports,

and 2 pieces of the pallet wood to make the shelves.

Some fun paint,

and a red X made from baseboard,

and I have a shelf that will work in the kitchen, bathroom, a bedroom, or anywhere.

  3. Thank you so much for posting these super cool projects. It inspires me each day and i cant keep up with the urges to run outside and build them. I keep having to tell myself " finish this then move on to the next". What a wonderful problem to have!

  8. It's just about a year since you did this post, and I need to know how many of those bottles of wine are still on that shelf? Thanks for linking up at Throwback Thursday.

  9. I love finding new uses for things like wooden pallets! I feel like I see a lot more projects that are keen are reusing them around the house. They're fantastic for shipping, but after you've got your shipment, it's nice to find another use for them other than burning them. This bookshelf is adorable! http://coloind.com
