Typing Table Transformation

I transformed this typing table
into this bright and fun side table.
All it took was some chalk paint in Paris Grey and Barcelona (after cleaning off the contact paper goo on top),
a little stenciling in Pure White and Florence and Paris Grey,
and some clear wax to change a dilapidated piece into something fresh and new.
I left the base as I found it--I love the wheels!
What have you transformed lately?

  1. Drop leaf tables are so handy and practical and the metal typing table takes all that one step further by being almost indestructible :) Love the colors and stencil patterns you used, just so cute now. Have a great holiday weekend.

  3. Your typing table looks great becky! Loving the colors you chose. I have a utility cart that someone (moi) covered entirely with contact paper in the 70's or 80's. I started removing it earlier in the spring, and then I just stopped! hmph!

maybe I'll dig it back out when it cools off.

    have a great/safe holiday weekend!
