Help?!

Ok y'all, I am still having some blog issues.  I have some kind people volunteer to help, but at this point I don't make any money from my blog, so I don't spend any money on it.  When I look at my blog, my sidebar does not show next to my current post unless I click on the specific post, say to see the comments, then it is right where it should be?  I don't see anything at the end of my blog page to get to older posts?  I did have the if you like this post you may like these thing at the end of each post, but that is gone now?  On my linky party posts there are huge gaps?  Thank you so much in advance to anyone who actually takes the time to help--I know, figure it out myself, but I have tried.  Oh, and on the gaps I did read something and then tried to post some code in template designer in CSS (?) but it didn't seem to change anything.

  1. I can't help you, but I do see your side bar and I do see "Older posts" I am coming through Safari. Hope that helps a little. Sometimes when my blog is screwed up I go in through Firefox and it is OK, maybe it is just which internet explorer you are viewing it from, I am going back out and I will look through Firefox

  3. I am an internet explorer and all is there on your page. I see all of it. Well....you don't have the 'If you like this, you will like" on this post. But everything else is there. Blogger has been super glitchy tonight.

  4. For the "if you like this post then you might like" through inlinkz? if so it may have been deleted and thats why its not showing up, check your page elements page for it. Also try shutting down your browser and reloading, sometimes things get weird if you have been on the same one for a while. I am on Firefox and can see all that you are talking about missing so I wonder if it might be from your view? Not sure, sorry:(

  5. I'm viewing through Internet Explorer and see the same thing you do (nothing in your sidebar), unless I click on just this post, then everything on your sidebar comes up (about me, followers, blog archive, etc.)

  8. I see your sidebar but I don't know where I'm coming from ... Mars? I'm with you, I can't figure out anything on these blogs, that's why my blog header is lopsided :) Good luck with whatever is happening on your end, it looks fine from here.

  9. I am using firefox and can see your side bar. Try clearing out your cache/history. Sometimes that works for me when I have issues like this. Blogger does weird things occasionally, like some of my comment options were different and I did *not* change them, also the width of my sidebar was changed and I had not done that either! Weird! I hope it all works out...

  10. chrome for me, and it all looks great! It is taking a long time to load. I think blogger has the flu or something.
be sure to download your template before you make changes to your html code. :)

  11. Not sure I can help much because I am on Wordpress and not Blogspot. However losing my sidebar happened to me. It occurred when I was having problems inserting photos into a post. I did not notice until a few days later. I did a search on wordpress help and they gave me info that there is something in the coding that was causing it. It gave me what to look for. If I remember I had to go through each individual post until my sidebar came up and that meant the post after it was the problem. Then it wasn't too hard to find what was causing the "break" because they told me what it was. I got rid of it and that worked. So try searching on blogspot's help to see if they can help.
Sorry I can't help more, but I do not know html and didn't write down what it was.
    Good luck.

  12. I'm not sure how to help you cuz I am a newbie at blogging. If it helps though, I see your side bar and all of your links EXCEPT a place to join your site. It says followers but no where for me to join. I would love to follow your site so I will check back later to see if you fixed it. All I can say is I just keep trying different things on mine and with alot of hard work and fumbling, I think I am finally getting the hang of it. I too have a little girl waiting for me in heaven. So sorry for you loss, I can honestly say I know how you feel.
Good luck and have a fantabulous day!

  13. I'm on Firefox Becky and I see everything but your followers.... mine do not show up 1/2 the time either and when they do, I keep losing followers and I've only gained about 1 in the past month which is very unusual! If you figure that one out please let me know too! But for now you're blog is looking great to me....
    Good luck

  14. Everything looks OK in Chrome, except for the "you may also like" bit isn't showing. I know sometimes when I use Google sites (web pages), it looks funky while editing, but if exit editing, it looks fine. Annoying, but as long as it's good for the end user, I'm not going to make myself batty.

  15. I am really irritated with blogger lately as well. I noticed the other day I couldn't see your older posts but now it is showing me,
Maybe Blogger doesn't like people named Becky
(why are all of the craft bloggers named Becky)

  16. I just remembered how I got the "you might also like" at the bottom

    go to this website. http://www.linkwithin.com/learn

you are right is only asks if I want to see older posts when I am on a specific post. use blogger help to search it, I have found it helpful before.

  17. I don't see anything on your sidebar. I sometimes have the same problem on my computer of seeing my sidebar, although I think others can. I usually close everything and do a restart, and magically it's there.
