So--here is what I did. I tied 6 springs together with jute. You need to tie each spring together in 3 places. I then tied some more little jute pieces on the springs for decoration.
I needed a tag. I was going to decoupage over one of the tags I had chalkboard painted this past weekend. When I went to grab an old book for decoupage I had an EPIPHANY. I loved the color of the book cover so why not make my tag out of it (my wheels are spinning now and I have some many other ideas for these book cover tags!). Using a utility knife, I scored around the chalkboard tag and then cut again (remember a cutting board underneath).
Drill a hole through the tag. STOP--do not drill into your cutting board like I almost did :). I decoupaged a bit of book on it and handpainted nest, but you could use stickers or print something off of the computer.
Attached the tag with jute and there you go, a SPRING wreath!
