Numerical Order

Ok, you are right, these numbers aren't in any order. but, hopefully a new bulletin board will help to keep things in order this year. For idea #2 I made this bulletin board. I painted the frame when I painted the frames for the maps. I used a little less brown. Chunky frames like this without glass are plentiful at thrift stores. I picked this one up for $1.

I also always find bulletin boards at thrift stores and usually buy them for a couple bucks on half prices days. Usually I don't care too much about their condition because I cover them with fabric. for this project you do need one in a little better shape. There is a line across this one that I didn't see until I spray painted it, but decide that it is ok because it will have notes on it.
I spray painted the bulletin board (that I cut to size with an exacto knife) with a light green paint, a couple coats. When it was dry I stuck on the different numbers that I cut out with my Cricut. No Cricut? No problem--there are lots of number stickers at craft stores and even at Wal-Mart. I spray painted brown on top and peeled off the numbers when the paint was dry, popped the board into the frame, and used a little hot glue on the back to make sure it stayed. Oh--and I spray painted some tacks the light green color, silver just wasn't going to do.
