A Magic Wardrobe?

I don't know if this wardrobe will take you to any magical lands like Narnia, but I do think that it is a pretty special piece. What makes it even more wonderful is that was given to me by a friend of a friend--free. It has a history too--it is from an old Montana ranch and homestead. It needs a little repair--the door trim is inside of it. So I will fix 'er up and take it to my antique booth.

I am starting the newest Beth Moore study tonight--Esther. I am excited, Beth always brings God's Word to life and relevance for me. I have my verse half memorized--I am working it one line at a time. Thanks for your comments and support.

PS--Can you see that my hubby is working on getting my basement finished?--yippee!

  1. Hi Bec,

I have one of those too! Well it is similar, not the same one. Are you going to color yours or keep the wood look? I was thinking some type of vintage red for mine. Can't wait to see the finished wardrobe. Love the verses, thanks for sharing!

  2. Hi,
Love the potential of that wonderful piece you scored!
BTW, I have always gotten so much for Beth Moore studies. Just gave a friend Praying God's Word.
    What a great book.
    Blessings to you,

  3. I love that wardrobe! I would have a hard time putting it in my booth! I would want to keep it and put shelves in it and make a jelly cupboard. I could store canned goods and put some of those big glass containers on the top shelf tha would store my sugar, flour, and cornmeal. I would probably crackle paint it in black and ivory. I want one! I will be on the look out for one now! Too bad I don't live closer to you!

I have heard of Beth Moore before but I don't know anything about her. What is the name of some of her books? I would like to get one.

  4. Beautiful piece. I'd have a hard time getting rid of that one!

  6. Great cabinet! I love Beth Moore too. I've done Living Beyond Yourself and Jesus The One And Only. Wow, what amazing studies. Have fun with yours.

  7. I love the wardrobe! I need a few around here for my kid's clothes, I'm hoping to find this summer garage sailing. We don't have any closets (intentionally) because I'd planned to buy wardrobes for their clothes, which currently sit in a heap in a basket! That one is so cute.

  8. Love this!!! I have a 100 yr old pie safe I adore. Beth Moore is wonderful...enjoy.

  9. What a great piece. I love it.

And I love doing Beth Moore's studies.

  10. Love that!! That is beautiful.

Your jewelry organizer idea is so great!

  11. This does look like it came from Narnia :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate your kind words!
