Adventures in Thrifting

I finally got to hit the thrift stores. I wasn't disappointed. Here are some things I found--
The vintage decanters sell well. The little glass votive holders I will use for a project I have in mind, as well as the pulley thingy.

I love this hearts game with a 1914 copyright.

And this Topper Comic book from 1961--check out the graphics. Have a great weekend, we are heading out for a bball tourney, but will be back Sunday with a new verse.

  1. What great scores! Had you heard of that Hearts game before? I'd love to display something like that. I love to play games.

  2. Don't you just love thrift stores? I call them "Boutiques" they are in a way! lol I especially love that milk glass dish you found. I would have snatched that one up myself as I've got a huge collection of it. That hearts game could be something fun to make into for Valentines day :-)
